Give Life to GR’s mobile outreach program directly improves the lives of people experiencing homelessness by meeting them where they are—in parks, underpasses, and encampments across the city. Instead of waiting for individuals to find transportation to shelters or food banks, we bring essential resources—food, clothing, hygiene kits, and human connection—straight to them.
Reaching those in need
Give Life to GR serves individuals and families experiencing homelessness across Grand Rapids and Kent County. The people we reach are often living in temporary shelters, cars, or outdoor encampments, and many face overlapping challenges such as job loss, lack of affordable housing, mental health struggles, and limited access to transportation.
